How can you tell if someone is being an asshole or a racist?
There are plenty of assholes, are they all racists if the person interacting with them is of a different race?
Oooh...this is easy! If the asshole is being an asshole to a black person, its racist. If the asshole is a Trump supporter, its racist! NO MATTER WHAT.
Liberals could get more traction if they tried to stop assholism instead.
I suppose it depends on how many other people the asshole harassed, injured, or killed "in the line of duty." And if there was a noticeable pattern leading up to the homicide.
Oaky, that's two, and not even from this year. If innocent, non violent, black people are being illegally killed every day by police as the great Rev Al told us at Floyds funeral, then we should be nearing 180 dead or so this year alone. I'll wait for all the evidence to support that allegation.
Zero would be an acceptable number and that's unlikely, but should be the goal none the less. Every one of those EXTREMELY RARE cases should be thoroughly investigated, and charges brought where appropriate. People calling this a genocide on blacks, systemic race war by cops waged against blacks, have no idea, none at all, what the true definition of those words really are. It's all political hyperbole.

You're wrong. Blacks are harassed more often than whites by police, and it is well-documented. That it culminates in "few" deaths does not make it somehow any less problematic. You're looking at the tip of the iceberg and don't see a big deal. Didn't the captain of the Titanic feel the same way?
