Also ruled out is the ideal situation where everyone sends his identity and account info directly to ET Admin., so that a "star" rating appears with the username so a newbie knows instantly who is a good trader based on realmoney trades not hocus-pocus.

Personally I have no problem trusting baron and Admin. with personal account/identity info.

But the general pubic likes to hide behind this anonymous crap, a total pussy-type existence IMHO.
 
Touching upon the tutorial concept that I brought up before ...

All trader seminars are eliminated as they are just a money-making scam for the owners - the seminars are not only generally bogus, they are also too short.

The trader needs constant concommitant hammering of concepts in realtime - while emotion et al is/are trying to sabotage him.

In Martial Arts, a "trader" has arrived when he reacts on "instinct" that was built-up and developed thru' countless hours of training and repetition.

A side/alternate forum, paid or otherwise, that has a dedicated teacher/instructor that handles realtime trading with a free flow of questions, thoughts etc., would I believe work miracles. This forum never expires.
 
A real life example ....

The subject: Dynamics of a Particle aka Particle Dynamics

a bloody abstruse and tormenting subject.


Everything was on the line - one's emotion, pride, future (if you fail this exam, you fail miserably). The pain I felt there was worse than what I felt in my forex thread. Most nights I was curled up like a foetus in agony as I struggled to understand - ditto for the others in my class. We were fucked.

Then a nondescript transfer student arrived, a little fellow that nobody liked and everybody taunted - I stood beside him once when he was threatend by some large bullies.

At lunch the following day, he said to me, "I can help you with DOP"

That's how this particular tutorial class got started.

Fast forward 7 months to the final exam.

He = 100% (first in class)

yours truly = 94%. (2nd)

Of course, later in life he went to NASA (still there), I'm in Thailand licking pussy. Who's happier? :D :D

It's interesting that you have the same delusion that most other traders have, which is that you firmly believe that nobody else trades, and certainly that nobody else makes any money, except for you.

It's just interesting because whenever I talk to members on the phone that are complaining about something on the site, almost universally at some point in the conversation each person will talk about how they've been trading profitably for xx years and then mention that there's nobody else on the site who makes money.

I've always said from day 1 at ET that I'm a new interning total trading loser and can't trade to save my life. See for yourself, boss.
 
Differenciation is the cornerstone of the reasoning mind; use it please, boss. Don't confuse me with other complainers. If you see my point of view you should recognize instantly that ET will make even more money by DELIVERING a product, finally.

Bottomline is that for us newbies to have a shot at the title, YOU and ET must survive not just well, rather flourish and prosper. This is what I want for ET, myself and others like me.

Please settle down and reconsider, boss.

I have no doubt that a special forum live trading class that drills the basics of trading/TA/et al EVERY DAMN DAY here at ET conducted during the forex US/UK overlap will attract soooooo many newbies that ET would be flooded within weeks/days of the word getting out.

We win, you win. You will make so much money, you'll drown in it, boss.

Personally if such an opportunity presented itself in the real world, I'd be on a plane and move to that location indefinitely. It would be worth it to me. Am I alone in this frame of mind? NO. There are many, many, many others who want some real training and a shot at this serious, precise sole proprietorship business.
 
The only reason you think that ET has many winning traders is because you HAVE TO believe it, for if it were untrue, I doubt you'd cope with the gravity of your blunder, your huge monies in income notwithstanding.

It don't take no genius to see that ET is LOSING CENTRAL loaded to the hilt with papertraders as in a videogames arcade.

Your actual trading venues are a graveyard and you've got all sorts of effluent being posted in these tabernacles, when in reality all that should be in these venues is chalices and hosts as in real posted trades in realtime taken by real men with real money.

A trading venue is a place of honor; here at ET these are reduced to scruffy toilets like the Chitchat and Politics forums.

Please boss, do something.
