I find it hard to believe that you can't find one person to talk about the markets. In places like Florida, New York City and SoCal there are so many bucket shops and places where people trade it isnt even funny. Even in places like Vegas and Austin there are lots and lots of the bucket shops.

I think you need to simply crawl out of your hole. If you cant find one guy who trades in New York City, then you must re-examine life.

austinp sticks up to what he believes in. I don't care about the fucker but I respect him for speaking out his mind. He is one fuckin' moron(my opinion) who cares. All the dimwit guru wannabes need to realize that there is never one truth. Debating and arguing is essential for the newbies for them choose how they want to be.

So... austinp. Most of what you mention about psychology is bullshit. But every once in a while, you provide some good shit that I agree with. Continue being yourself and sticking to what you think. I hate fuckers who are "acting" passive but egoistical. At least, you are not. So keep on posting and be yourself. The mistake you made was you made yourself biased towards your opinion about EricP as a trader with what you posted (same can be said with trading... let's say that EricP is bullish, what you mentioned "may be influenced by taking his side"). I'll be around when I don't agree with you with some "posting tactics". Let the readers decide whether it's right or wrong.

There's a good reason people get flamed in ET. Look at "jack hershey", I'll respect him if he can step up to the plate and confirm what he claims and mentions about all the stuff he writes and comments about. I've tried doing so in an Automated trading discussion but after all his little posts about "knowing it all" and I ask him one critical question, he backs away.

Controlling Grey comes from understand both Black and White.

There is no right or wrong between passionate clashes...
