I guess it varies from state to state on DWI's, but perhaps they could have just impounded his car, taken his license, wrote him the ticket and let him walk home. The good thing about this case is there is a video of it. Whatever the reasons, the black suspect was fighting the two cops. He even took one of the cops tazer gun. Then, he makes a run, turns around and tries to fire the tazer at one of the police officers. He is then, shot and killed. Democrat mayor and police chief both cucks, first accepts the police chief moving aside, doing nothing while, BLM and Antifa thugs burn the restaurant down. Nothing to see here but, liberalism at its finest. Never hold the black suspects accountable for their actions.
