Would you prefer the killer using one of these? 6 rounds and one in the chamber. Only 7 rounds, and relatively slow to reload, but I guarantee if the target is a bunch of 6 year olds the shooter will be able to reload as often as he likes, killing as many as he can in the 5 minutes before the cops arrive. Fact is, in close quarters a guy could probably kill and wound a dozen people before reloading, regardless of the age group. Gun control won't stop a crazed killer. Period. The gun ain't violent, people are. Why has our society become so violent? Easy enough to answer for those that can admit the truth. I've already spelled it our so there's no need in repeating it, especially since we don't have the balls to address the real problem. Some might get offended. Can't have that, now can we?

Yahoo news is now saying that the semi auto rifle was used to kill everyone in the school. Yesterday, the chief medical officer said they were all killed by the 2 handguns and the rifle was found still in the vehicle he drove there.

Did the liberal media get a mandate from Obama to change their story to push for the automatic rifle ban?

I mean, how can the rifle have been "found in the car" for the last 2 days and now it was used in the killings?

Government officials told the Washington Guardian on Friday night that two Justice Department programs that had provided more than $200 million to schools for training, security equipment and police resources over the last decade weren't renewed in 2011 and 2012, and that a separate program that provided $800 million to put police officers inside the schools was ended a few years earlier.

Meanwhile, the administration eliminated funding in 2011-12 for a separate Education Department program that gave money to schools to prepare for mass tragedies, the officials said.


White House officials did not return repeated calls and emails Friday night seeking comment on the administration's rationale for letting the programs lapse.
