States cannot protect people from criminals, even when guns are illegal to own, guns will always be obtained by those that want to commit heinous crimes, I'm reading these stupid comparisons here between the US and other countries, The US breeds brokenness, let the innocent protect themselves, many states currently allow open carry and I support the states that are currently attempting to loosen control, as far as automatic weapons? Its not brain surgery to make a semi-automatic weapon fully automatic, B1, I do not know how you do it, you have way more patience than me,:confused:-:)

Fully automatic weapons are not always obtained by those that want to commit heinous crimes,virtually never.When was the last time a murder was committed with a fully automatic weapon?

I just state facts and common sense. There will always be detractors. I like having them around so that it reminds folks of just how anti-American and out of whack they are.

This ain't rocket science people. The problem is mental health crisis we have in this country. Addressing that is a long and complicated process. We don't do long and complicated very well in America. We do quick fix, feel good for a moment. Banning assault weapons isn't the answer. We need a much stricter application process to purchase a gun, any gun. We need mandatory training for gun owners, no exceptions. We need to address the problem of untreated mental illness. We need to ask ourselves why most of the people in therapy are privileged pussies, and the average person who needs it can't get it or afford it.
