Assault Weapons

Except that there's plenty of data that shows the harder it is to legally obtain guns, the less shootings there are. The countries with the strictest gun laws have the least amount of gun crimes. They also have the lowest homicide rates. Go figure...

The USA has a lot more violent dangerous people in it than the UK Canada etc, very different populations

This is a serious assault weapon with bump stock and rapid continuous fire. In the wrong hands it can cause significant pain in rapid, repetitive cycle of the dangerous high-speed munition targeting the innocent. Obviously this weapon should be banned.
Agree in toto

Singularly useless info and analysis.

Why do you think we are more violent? Maybe, because almost anybody can walk into a gun retailer and buy a gun.

Owning a gun does not make someone more violent. That is a terrible argument. Let's puzzle this out logically. So the more guns one owns, the more violent they become, and the more likely they will use their weapon in a violent crime.

It's a silly way to think of it. By that measure, destriero would be the next psycho-killer mass shooter.

Rethink your thoughts.

Fully automatic weapons are illegal and have been for a long long time unless a ridiculously hard to obtain permit is granted. Some idiot on another thread described assault weapons as fully automatic, then railed on about AR-15's muzzle velocity. AR-15's are not assault rifles nor assault weapons etc etc etc no way no how no matter what the muzzle velocity or energy expended.

Here's what the answer is------enforce current gun laws and roll back a few as well. We don't need more gun laws. Guns are over-regulated as it is. ---Punish the lawbreakers, not the rest of us.
