Nope. That's old 1960's affirmative action stuff- which is fine- but just a starting point. The constitution prohibits discrimination against all persons on the basis of race as individuals- not in the aggregate. You cannot make an adverse decision about a person on the basis of race and then justify it by arguing "oh, I have done my required quota for the year."
Another good appointment to the Court by a Republican president will help to clarify this for you and your ilk.

No. You don’t get it. There are plenty of students that are not accepted to top schools with higher a SATs score than this kid and other kids, some of whom are Asian, that are accepted with lower scores. You’re too focused on scores and gpa, when they are really minimum requirements not determining factors.
But like I said, it doesn’t matter because all that is going to happen is the SATs are going to be nixed.
You have to wonder how bland was this kids extra cuticular activities to be rejected by 6 top schools like that. I wonder if he had AP classes too.
