Arkansas lawmakers pass religious-belief bill

Really you lose when you argue with your fundamental religious friends. So you distract to me. Go argue with Wallet and BSAM.

I award you 1 pink giraffe sticker for beating overwhelming odds, and overcoming your lifelong struggle with the "reply" button..............

Even though it is plainly visible in the bottom right corner of the screen we should not judge you based on that.

FDR took down the nazi's, Rocky took down Drago, trendlover beat the reply button. All three are inspirational stories of people overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds. (like a button in the bottom right corner of the page)

It still doesn't explain why you break between broken and fluent English from time to time...

I guess he/she thinks we are trying to distract from all those prolific points he makes..... in garbled/unreadable text that no one can understand. LOL.

There is a basic issue here , and it has to do with compulsion. There is a big difference in a court saying a state law or policy discriminates against a group unfairly, and a court ordering an individual to do something against their will and their religious principles.
So all you are saying is, so long as your principle or will is a religious one, however plain wrong that principle may be, it is always compulsion when a court orders against it.

Really?! Are you sure you've thought that through?

The Aztecs would love AAA.

Yes I have. Let's say you hire Abdulazzizz Catering for a party. You tell Abdul you want a huge mound of bacon. He says, very sorry sir, but as a muslim, I do not serve pork products.

Are you saying you have a legal right to make him serve you bacon?

Cases where deeply held beliefs conflict are always troubling for people who get past the bumper sticker slogans. You say "however plain wrong the principle may be." But isn't the issue who gets to decide whether it is wrong or not? To a Christian, homosexual conduct is "plain wrong." It's not like it is something these people came up with on their own. Every major religion considered homosexual conduct to be morally wrong since the beginning of recorded history.

For decades we were told that all homosexuals wanted was to be left alone and allowed to live their lives. Now apparently that is no longer enough. They seem determined to use bully boy tactics and legal terrorism to force everyone to act like they endorse and approve of homosexual lifestyles.

I realize it's a lot of fun for atheists, homosexuals and anti-Christian bigots to attack people of faith and try to ruin them. You might give pause however and consider if it is a good idea to establish precedents that could be used against you in the future.

To Thine Own Self Be True..........

The past several posts there seems to be the overwhelming tendency that "bottom line profit" is the only guide for business decisions. Maybe for some, but there are those that lead their lives and their businesses, if owned, as a reflection of their core beliefs - sometimes those core beliefs are based on religious principals. For those when put into a position of decision, profit vs. doing what they truly believe is right ..... well, it's much easier to be at peace with oneself and be able to sleep at night than worry about a few dollars.

Why do the pizzeria close, and go hide after they have crowd source $500,000? Why do they choose to profit "when put into a position of decision, profit vs. doing what they truly believe is right ..... well, it's much easier to be at peace with oneself and be able to sleep at night than worry about a few dollars.

Because schizophrenic whack jobs such as yourself threaten to burn his business down or to physically harm him and his family for holding beliefs counter to the left...

and please stop this bullshit with the bwoken engrish...
