LOL! And here comes this stuttering, drunk ass clown of a poster! This douche bag can't even make a coherent statement. His first 2 sentences say the same thing!!! LOL!

Then the second paragraph just makes no sense. People say 2 things simultaneously in their minds? What the fuck is he talking about? LOL! He's hitting the bottle a bit early tonight. So funny how people get drunk, then false confidence and come online and act like they are some kind of authority- when in fact they should be less confident because it's just drunk senseless rambling.

The tea party movement has black speakers and leaders, and this idiot still thinks they owe him some kind of proof that they aren't "racist" (but by their definition, not that of the dictionary) I love internet drunks.. LOL!

The racism argument is more tangential that central.

Point of fact is that the majority of illegal aliens in Arizona are from Mexico, South and Central America.

The majority of persons from these regions are "Latino."

Stopping Latinos under the guise of probable cause is a pragmatic maneuver.

Yes, it inconveniences Latinos that are in Arizona legally. But, you know, all they have to do is produce upon demand, proof of citizenship. A valid ID. Just a few moments out of their day.

I know that sounds callous and very un-liberal.

Though, rather than crying racism and marching, propose an agreeable solution. One that specifically addresses the removal of illegal Mexican, Central and South Americans living in Arizona.

I can't think of any because I admittedly have little passion about the situation other than as a spectator. There is the possibility of making an obtuse slippery slope argument about loss of personal freedoms and living in a police state - as the thread title suggests.

But the key difference is illegals, as that namesake states, are breaking the law. A law that has been on the books long before this became an epidemic.

Besides, by now we should be used to yielding convenience in exchange for safety and law enforcement. I remember the days of boarding a plane with a keg of beer to go see a friend in college. Now, I can't even bring a bottle of sun screen unless it's a wee bit of a bottle.

Secondly, look at your terms and seriously consider them. "Minority of a minority." That's sheer ignorance. African Americans are not culturally monolithic. Here's a fact you likely didn't know. The grand majority of African Americans never personally faced racism in their life nor felt the effects of profiling.

And why disparage me with the "Urkel" comment? Why not think Bill Cosby instead? A very vocal African American who honestly expresses the true nature of the issues in the African American community.

Anyway, the list is long who else should have come to mind other than a disparaging caricature of a "sell out."

Urkel had nothing to worry about...someone who looked like they came from the projects does have to worry...even if they aren't breaking the law. Demanding to know why you are being pulled over and asked for ID is not disrespectful...it is the right of every citizen to question why they are being detained...but if you don't look the part...you are going to get hassled, and that's a fact.
