Ya, Right Wing radio. Basically 90% of the media is Liberally controlled, and the Left wants to shutdown ring-wing talk radio under the Fairness Doctrine. But boy, Liberals sure do love free speech. They're fucking scumbags. Velvet glove authoritarians.
 
Goodbye Venezuelan suckers. Socialism starts out with politicians saying "let's all share the wealth (and gimme some)" then the politicians grab the best stuff in the country then after awhile it's "let's all share what we don't have". If we're lucky it will play out like the fall of the Roman Empire where the lawyers and politicians were killed off as a class. I've always wondered if that happened because the people knew who screwed them over or because that class of people were the only ones with anything worth robbing over... maybe it's a bit of both

You know how the left loves to make fun of the 'tax cuts pay for themselves' meme?
It's one of their most popular targets for ridicule.

But how do they describe their own programs?
Have you ever heard of the 'fiscal multiplier"?

It claims that their pork barrel spending will cause growth to accelerate far beyond the initial gov't outlays. The premise is that whoever receives the gov't largess will then turn around and spend it, etc, etc.

In Other Words- they're claiming that gov't spending pays for itself. Ha!!
But just so you won't think of it as a joke, they don't use that exact phrase that they foist on tax cuts. They call it the 'fiscal multiplier' to try to convince you that it's a remarkable discovery by blue ribbon academics that is settled social science.


btw, we just went through obama's spending increase and how'd it multiply?
Slowest recovery in decades and slow hiring and slow business investment.

It seems the recipients of the gov't spending didn't exactly behave like the models we're supposed to be in awe of predicted.

Let me tell you about Europe. 1,000 years ago, they didn't call people comedians. They called them Court Jesters, or Fools. Imagine telling the people back then that in the future, half the population would learn about their kingdoms affairs though the court Jester and other Fools and actually like or dislike a King based on what the Jester said.

If you told people that back then, they wouldn't believe it. They would think we have idiots all around. And yet we have a good portion of our population that we call leftists listening to these Court Jesters.
