Nah, not at all. Smaller panels allow for easier configuration, and they are cheap. I do prefer larger than 24 for space, but when you start getting many 32's in a geometric curve, they are too big to work together. And they cost more for decent resolution. 24 is a good compromise. Overhead panels can be tilted down. Side panels tiled in. No obtuse viewing angle issues b/c small monitors allow more facets in the arrangement. Can move the bracket arms all over the desk (I run one bracket desk clamp per two monitors).
And, it isn't a fashion show, its a profit process.
