Most price indicator are based on moving avarage of some price point in your TF bar. So basically if you use price indicator why not use the backbone of every price indicator and use the MA itself.
RSI for example, want, base on the length, to give you a hint about the current PA.. because he do some math with tops and bottoms..
MA can be a nice quick context reference.
If the MA look useless it's also say something..
Reading well your current PA in a context of MA is all you need.
Nothing replace good PA reading. MA can save few processing steps if from the beginning you now what you look for.
