Anyone trade micro emini futures?

i trade micro's for testing ideas and trade the mini for income.

i only need 2 ticks to cover my cost on the micro and profit very little and 1 tick to cover my cost and profit very little on the mini. i am ok with that for now even though leasing a seat makes it half that.

i love they introduced the micro it has it's purpose ..

Yepper...and mainly it removes the need for extensive forward-testing.
The only problem I found is that traders stay trading with the EMicro for far too long.
That mistake results in commish+fees that are 150-300% above the Eminis given the same leverage.

Well, better you pay little more on fees than lose from bad trades. If you don't have a profitable strategy, you should stay with the micro for as long as it takes.

It is high. You can make up the cost in emini in less than 1 tick. But you need 2 ticks in micros.

"then just trade for more points" argument is besides the point.

Wow one whole tick more.

Not make up the difference, make better trade extries/exits. I constantly get a tick or more price improvement on my limit order buys/sells. At least 60% of the time.
