Anyone trade micro emini futures?

I mean, both arguments are correct. they're considerably higher than the Eminis, but what the fuck do we care when we're able to make the risk-adjusted best choice to trade them in order to build up an account?

Why sweat a dollar a trade when you're making $5-30?

Typo above post, Lmt was for 11760.00 filled 11766.25 so 6.25 pts better than what I submitted. NQ and little brother MNQ sure do move in the express lane.

Yeah, that looks like my RL trading yesterday, but in YM and ES micros. I don't feel any sting of the evil micro-mini commish gouging.

@syswizard If you are making 1000+ trades per day, maybe you are over-trading? That goes beyond anything related to minis and micros.

Think about what you are typing here...1000+ trades per day! That is fucktastic!

Have you meanwhile been able to find these micro contracts in TWS? I trade multiple micro futures at IB, using automated trading (IB's API). Micro futures which I use include grains (YC, YK), forex (M6E), metals (MGC, SI (mult 1000)), oil (MCL), equity (MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K).

You misunderstood...that is 1000+ trades PER MONTH ! That number could go up to 2000+ trades.
When you are trading a diverse set of instruments, every day is different.

MBT is too volatile for my trading system. However, I might add them to the universe of instruments I track to ensure that I have data for it, in case I change my mind. So, thank you for mentioning it.
MCL I already mentioned in my previous post. And yes, I do use ZN and ZB but would not really call these "micro" in size.
