Anyone have positive results using Trade Ideas streaming alerts?

I like the automatic refreshing feature of TI, but you can link all alert windows only with the same signal chart. If you get several alerts of different tactics at the same time, you can see them one second till next refresh.

You need to set it not on auto load but on double click load.

Hi,
i have 8 seperate alert windows and a hundred alerts a day(only very few are tradeable), i don`t want to click several hundred times a day. Hope, it`s no problem to solve the problem for TI.

Volume spike: Livecharts(quote.com) has got an interesting feature: "Trade rate".

has any actually saved a window onto their disk and been able to pull it up. it saves as a .tia extension and no software found to pull it up. i am trying to save the day's alerts and look at them at a later time. but no way to open the saved file.

To look at history you need to log into the web and open your window through the Recent Alert Windows link under Advanced Features of the web site. I know they are adding History to the application cause I have been asking for it for a long time, but right now to get history you have to use the web.

thanks diamond, but i was hoping to look at my saved windows throughout the week. for study over the weekend. that just gave me my recent alert window activities. to which i just configured last night.

Take your saved window, open it up in TI Pro. Right Click and select Collaborate, that will give you a URL. Copy it into a browser window and you got your window that you can now do history on. I had to learn all of this myself ;-) I hope they add history soon!

Looks like part of your original question has been answered by another user. With respect To Diamondtrim's request for as robust a History feature as the website version - it is on the top of our development queue and will be available shortly.

I want to make sure all of your question is addressed. If you save an alert window in the Trade-Ideas directory of your computer, you can reload it in PRO by selecting FILE, Load Alert Window for the Trade-Ideas PRO console which contains your account information and connection status (the green ball). You have to open the saved windows from within the application as opposed to finding it Windows Explorer.

thanks dafe, that pulled up the window, but unfortanetly, it pulled up empty. meaning the entire days alerts weren't there. i would like to save the entire alerts list in the window so that when i get home from work and i am too tired to look at the info. i would like to save the window full of the days alerts for viewing at a future time. i am trying to see if i can see some stocks i might be able to hold overnight if i can get a bigger profit gain.

Now that you did that. Do this, Right Click in that window and select Collaborate, that will give you a URL. Copy it into a browser window and you got your window that you can now do history on. Make sure to log into the web to get the complete list.
