Anyone have positive results using Trade Ideas streaming alerts?

Well I'm still using my free trial and did'nt like the web based product cause it used to much cpu usage, so I tried the downloadable version and the only alerts I'm able to use is "bull and bear" watcher. Is this just because it's the free trial version.

MB,

Anyone else is free to comment, but we've designed the site not to consume any more CPU usage than the yahoo home page.
Here is our detailed explanation of our tests: http://www.trade-ideas.com/FAQ.html#Q10

If you are using the PRO version, all that is required to see the other preconfigured strategies or modify them is to Right Click inside the alert window. There you will see them under 'Samples'. Choose 'Configure' to modify them.

Thanks for your question. BTW Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We also repsond to feedback delivered at http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=1530

I just discovered TI last Wednesday night while playing around with QuoteTracker (QT has a TI alert component built-in). I've been using a couple of the sample alerts with great results in a stock contest I'm in with some friends before I use it on a live account. I went from being second from last place last Wednesday to having a commanding lead by the closing bell on Friday using only trades from TI alerts.

I went from being down ~10% to being up ~60% withing five days. I've thrown in a few non-TI trades this week and they haven't worked out nearly as well (as expected).

I have been using the TI window in QuoteTracker, but I just downloaded the stand-alone TI app and have been playing around with that. So far, I'm loving TI. The key enefit for me is admittedly something that could be gained from any screening software and that is that I am no longer limited to watching only my fixed list of a few dozen stocks on a watch list since TI gives me the option to screen every stock and bring the movers to me. Before I was limiting myself by trading the best of what I was watching, which on some days was not worth waking up for. Now I have a much larger universe, thus a much greater chance of there being something actually worth trading.

Hi,
I like the window specific filter with the "AND"-Condition.
Why not in the "Select alert" page, too?

Another thing: My "old" problem: Hope, that there`are some change in the feature external linking. I have heard, that someone changed the sourcecode of livecharts and now it`s possibel to send every new alert automatic to a new chart. After 10 new alerts, alert nr. 11 begins at the first chart again. Seems to be no problem.

Noticed Atrade Alerts not available today in QT integrated TI.

Just wondering if the Atrade Alerts is going paid or has it been dropped from Trade Ideas?

Gotta love TI, been trading S for a couple of days as it is moving in lock-step with KMRT.

I am always finding nuances to help make TI work better for me. For instance, I can set the daily range to be 10% if I'm looking for something near the lows. That way, I get fewer signals, then I can decrease the avg number of shares or the minimum volatility to get more alerts for more opportunities, but these alerts are more reliable.

I want to be alerted if a stock prints 15 cents away from it's previous print, on one exchange. I can't figure out how to make TI do this.
