Anyone have any experience with "Landshark Capital"

No kidding. I'm asking to define what scalping means to him, since this term gets thrown around a lot. Some people scalp for ticks, others points. What exactly does he mean by "don't scalp?".

Not sure where the hostility is coming from, but if you're going to be toxic please leave.

You don't like contrarian opinions, do you?
I read my comment a couple of times to find out where the toxicity was, I couldn't find it.
If you are complaining about a trading course and don't know basic concepts, I repeat myself, do not even try scalping, that is not for you. You have so much to learn before even trying that.

There's being a contrarian and then being a toxic asshole who is counterproductive:

You said that you got down most of the fundamentals of trading and now you are asking what a position is?
Do not even try scalping, that is not for you.

Didn't really answer the question I asked earlier, which is if scalping is ticks or points on something like ES. You offered nothing of value and then insinuated I was stupid for asking such a question.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter and I could care less.

But here we go again. "If you are complaining about a trading course and don't know basic concepts, do not even try scalping".

So if I shouldn't scalp, and there is more to learn, then what should I do? You also didn't mention why scalping is harder than other types of trading and why it shouldn't be attempted. You could have typed out a possible solution with the same amount of words it took you to say I shouldn't do something.

Good luck buddy.

To discuss and share opinions

You basically want to learn other peoples opinions but then share none of your own? If you're not discussing strategy what else would you be discussing?

I can see this is a waste of time. Please don't post on my thread in the future.

Why do failed traders teach? Don't they have any integrity? Is it incompetence or are they all just robber barons? I don't know if I could stomach knowingly selling someone else shit. Aren't they worried people will come after them? I would like to think they are just so moronic that they don't know they're unsuccessful.
They teach because they cannot make money from the market.
If they would make money, they wouldn't teach, as simple as that.

They keep teaching because hopeless wannabee traders keep buying their shit.

If someone is willing to teach you how to make money, it's because they are making more money from teaching than from trading, as simple as that.

You won't find any easy and out-of-the-box ways of becoming profitable with trading.
You'll need to dig and research from all the pieces of information you'll be able to grab here and there (books, videos, forums, etc.).

Sounds about right. Thanks for the feedback.

What do you make of guys like this that teach for free? I think he has some sort of mental disorder:

www.tradertom.com

I was listening to him during EU, he abruptly left after 54 minutes on his stream, he was having a conversation with himself about the Birds and the Bees, and he was just an all around weirdo. But, apparently, he's worth millions and has written a book. Tom Hougaard. Very well known, but I question his profitability. Seems like a hack to me.

Why would someone teach for free? Some kind of altruistic nonsense? He made like 10 points today risking 50...

This is what this guy posts...

ALERT

I forgot that I have announced that I am taking the US SESSION off today and tomorrow. I am so dumb sometimes.

I am going to stick to that schedule. I will see you tomorrow.

Please manage the DAX trade yourself.

Thank you ❤️"

How can someone this forgetful and stupid be making so much money?

Thanks for the input. I actually tried Tom today during EU and he was having some sort of philosophical discussion on life. It was so weird I wasn't really sure what to make of it. The session lasted 54 minutes and then he abruptly left. Is this normal? I question his profitability. Very strange man. I also read his book, but it was the same idea rehashed 100 times and I wasn't too fond of it.

He also seems to be traveling a lot and giving lectures on psychology. I don't think most people need some sort of psychoanalysis, but a profitable edge. Not sure why this is so big in the community at the moment. Another sales tactic?

I've no idea. Never checked him out myself, but from the little I saw of him he seems like a sensible guy. The fact that he's not really selling anything is a good sign. I have another trading buddy who's looking into him and liking what he sees so far.

Are you the guy which was recently banned by the way? At least I assume you were banned as the thread was closed.

Not going to bother if that's the case as you posted some nasty sh*t in that thread.

He probably lost tons of $$$$ learning from those fake gurus.

OP didn't know that fake gurus have to teach so as to bring home the bacon.

Stay away from him until he cools down.
