Anyone have any experience with "Landshark Capital"

Hi,

I've been trying to trade unsuccessfully for the last 6 months. I realize that I need help and am trying to find reputable places to receive it. I recently came across this guy, who claims to be a former Wall Street prop trader, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with him or his educational course?

The main course is $2k, which includes a bunch of learning material + access to his live chat room with other trades. I really don't want to get scammed, so I wanted to try and do my research before pulling the trigger and ask if anyone has any knowledge of this guy or his site.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Their site claims "Our educational material was created by a former Proprietary Wall Street futures trader & portfolio manager." but they don't say the name of that person or mention the names of the prop firm(s) he traded at, and most importantly, what his performance was. That's a red flag to me.

So then to get more information, you might be tempted to visit their About Us page, but that page only mentions first names and no pictures of those people are posted. That's another red flag.

The problem is that when someone is new and starting out, almost no one will provide: tax returns, broker statements, 3rd party audit, or anything else. Every person I research won't provide it.

So I guess the moral of the story is that we can't trust anyone and have to do everything ourselves? I'm not against that and am a hard worker. I'd rather know that I can only rely on myself and then the buck stops with me, but time spent can't get back, so if I can shorten the learning curve then I'll pay someone to help (if they exist). Seems like they don't, unfortunately.

I'm beginning to believe that the only way I'm going to become profitable long-term is to go work on a desk (prop or bank) and learn as much as I can.

That's a standard disclaimer that literally everybody uses. It raised red flags the first time I ever read it, but since this same, standard disclaimer is littered everywhere across the internet, I've begun to think it's standard practice to use it.

Basically it's "we can't be held liable for your trading losses, because everyone might not be successful". Given the fact that trading is very individual in nature, I would lend this at least some credit. Anyone can screw up a good system if they can't or won't follow the rules. Even some of the famed "Turtles" taught under Dennis and Eckhardt failed. Is it unreasonable to assume that trading just can't be taught effectively to some people, even if the education is of high quality?

Anyone here willing to teach me what they know for a cut of the profits for a certain length of time? Years? Or perhaps a "pay me when you get rich" type of thing? Not to sound juvenile, but if I can profit share with someone who will show me the ropes I'd be down for that. I'm at a point in my life where I need to either start building capital or looking somewhere else, and I'm trying to figure out my options. I didn't think it would take this long (six months so far).

I've learned a lot, have the fundamentals down pretty solidly. Options, futures, stocks, news releases, correlated markets, etc. Just struggling with not taking as many losses and increasing both win% and size. Seems to be more of a strategy problem than "letting my losses run" problem that seems to be the common with a lot of people (or so I'm told).

Not overnight. Mostly intraday swings. Trying to capture the bigger moves. I primarily trade NQ. Sometimes NG, CL, or bonds. I found that I get chopped out less if I aim for the bigger moves, but I don't have the margin to hold overnight or for many days.

What would you recommend? Scalping? If we're talking something like ES, are we talking a few ticks? Few points?
