after the spike my tt showed 10 bid 1000, 1000 at 10 at the same time. thought it might be a technical error, or a fat finger...

The Cumulative Ask Volume (AVol) according to my TT Volume Histogram shows 5252 right at 2:52 PM eastern. Weird coincidence?

today there was a real battle in the curve I think flatteners may have come off due to non-belief in this bailout package. It was all over the place today and steepeners seem to have been put back on. All I know is that recently I have been spreading a lot more cash/futures along the curve than outright trading the ZB; it is so thin it makes me sick that a 1000 lot can move the market 8-10 ticks!
P.S. That move up in ZB on 9/22 shows that 8000 traded in that two minute span on my CQG.

The YIELD sure went up today.

no reason to call anyone names, the ZB went up because the bailout package failed it came right back to where it was before the bailout vote failure. We'll see what happens going into next week. If they do this package it will add so much debt that they (gov't) have to issue that ZB should go down but we are still in a bull trend for now. As spooz go down of course the ZB is in an uptrend...no one cares about inflation I have said that over and over on here. Many times I have warned not to be short ZB unless your risk tolerance is high. That is how this whole thread was started almost a year ago as stocks started their plummet.
damn this $hit on tilt yesterday no bid today no offer you can get destroyed so fast and when they come for it they do not stop for 30 ticks!
