Anybody else short US 30 Bond

anyone else see the possibility of the 30 year topping out around these levels medium term

121 to 123 is the stall area for the last many many years

I think the Ten Year might stall at 3.50% we are close, agree with you on ZB Z8 at some point there will be profit taking even though there are still huge foreign buyers of our paper.
 
did anyone get a last trade in AFTER market hours on ZB?

wild after hours news, unsure of how this is going to affect ZB


when I shut down my computer at around 15.30 EST it was trading at roughly 120
 
well this is turning out to be a good evening since im short 50 ZB for an average price of 117'10

My take profit is 115'15, wonder if we get there in the next few months

GREAT trade!!!!

I was short right after the # on Friday and covered at the end of the day. I almost held some over the weekend.... oh well made a few ticks this evening and we will be busy tomorrow.
 
lol i dunno about great trade coz i took some heat

the good trade was I sold all my 119 calls on friday when ZB hit 121

that was sweet

but the ZB futures were -200k underwater at that point, lol

I was looking at the 10 year and was thinking you were still short from friday.... It is kinda late for me....lol
 
still short DEC ZB from 118 16. This trade is starting to look bad. I cannot believe the huge reversal today in the bonds. Anyone thinks the yields will go much lower?

Get in and get out and hope your counterparty does not blow out. LEH credit Default Swaps are trouble.
