Anybody else short US 30 Bond

Anyone thinking about holding shorts over the weekend?

And surdo, I make all my own decisions! That's why I make the money I make. I like hearing opinions tho:) .

Yea I usually don't let ET effect my trading, on that particular day I was short a bunch of ZB, and I rarely trade the 10yr. Everyone was pretty confident that we would see the 118 area, and I decided to take a shot in the 10yrs too. I probably was going to do it anyway, I was actually gonna short the board 2,5,10, and 30. Glad I didn't pull the trigger on that:) .

I took a loss on all my shorts today, but I'm still holding a longer term short from about 119'31. We'll see how that works out come next week, but I decided not to add on yet. If it goes higher into the 121's next week, I'll probably sell more, and if we go back down 120, I'll probably scratch my shorts and wait for a better oppurtunity to sell. GL all you bondo experts!

The thing could sell off 3 handles Monday or rally up to 122 who knows if there's another write off or CDO/Credit Default Swap debacle or whatever! Been home for a couple of hours watching the tournament no thinking about ZB, CL or ES for 3 days! Have good weekend boys.
 
Wow this day has just sucked for some reason. I couldn't get anything going. Its amazing how quickly you start to develop a high opinion of yourself and your trading only to have the market humble you yet again lol! You start making risky trades and start taking on size you know you shouldn't but I guess you just live and learn. Still made money this week so shouldn't complain but it could of been a hell of a lot more.

Markets are really thin today and a lot of games are being played (especially in eurex).

Only good trade I have made so far today is being short the 10yr from 119.26 (still holding on and looking for a full point but I might pussy out and close the position before the market closes).
