I hold trades in the long bond and do not trade in and out. I am not that good of a trader. I just follow price based on cyclical patterns that I have defined. Personally, I think it harder to trade the bonds in and out. Just when I think I have a grasp on what might make them tick, they do just the opposite. I have given up on trying to predict them, I just try to follow them as best I can. It has been a very profitable method for me over the last few years.
