Additionally, I want to point out that our VPS Ultra plan at $160/month is more powerful than the AWS option listed at $574.
A few downsides of AWS…
• The nearest AWS data center to Chicago is in Ohio (us-east-2), which isn’t ideal for minimizing latency.
• AWS offers unmanaged services, so if you need support, you might be on your own.
• AWS pricing is 2x-3x more.

100% agreed, I've been with them for almost 3 years now and have multiple servers with them now as my trading business has grown. They are not the cheapest, which is a good thing because you don't want cheap when it comes to quality. Anyone that's experienced disconnections and random reboots on the cheap hosts knows what I'm talking about.
Also they've helped me with debugging my Ninjascript, and set up a local network for trade copying to multiple Rithmic prop firms. Being able to copy trades to my trade groups using local network mode means there's no slippage, or 1 tick at most, between all of us.
AWS is famous everywhere, but you normally get a better deal if you speak to local providers close to the exchange you are after.
