I find in a lot of threads that the original premise gets distorted and then the thread breaks down because posters are not really discussing the same scenario.

Yes, it is possible to double one's money within a year but what "investment" has a 90% chance of doing so? That is the criteria in the OP.

So let me understand; I receive from you 1k and not the original 50k as stated, then, If and when I return to you 2k within the time scale discussed that will result in you sending me the balance of 49k in which to operate on the original premise?

Have I missed anything?
