Anvil problems this morning?

Unfortunately, I don't think it's the connection that is causing the problem.
 
Bc I did trace routes and checked my cpu with the assnt guys on the phone and everything was fine, they couldnt come up with an excuse how it was on my end, plus evrything else on my comp runs fine... What connection do u advise I get? Since I been through many different ones and speed and problems still persists...
 
I trade from the the Chicago office. We have absolutely huge bandwidth that isn't even remotely close to being maxed out. We still have problems. As I type this message, they just flushed all ARCA quotes and Market Makers.

Connection is not the issue.
 
If anyone has the "grayed" issue when running anvil in the high/low scroller and your basket sorter, I highly advise you to call assent support desk. They just got F5 VPN and I am so sure that is the issue. Market summary disconnects are not normal. I used to run my system on full market summary with Nortel VPN and never had any issue. With F5 VPN client, even the limited market summary drops every other second.

The Chicago office.... isn't that the one with the traders in India (Great Point / Maverick, etc.??). I read on another post that the Chicago office is trading in India. That's a huge bandwidth killer shipping data through your office to India, I am sure its taking a good chunk of your office bandwidth. And unless you know the networking infrastructure personally, don't shoot back that you dont share the same lines. The way that company moves around, there is zero chance they have carved out part of the network for the India office.


And don't even start with ARCA, they suck and they admit it. Even their multicast lines had issues last week
 
Just when I thought it'd go 3 days in a row w/o having problems, Anvil disconnects twice in the last hour when the volume picks up. WTF...someone fix this POS!!!

ha, not one issue for me today. my remote anvil had 2 quote flushes, but apparently they are already adding a new server tomorrow and it should be fine. no cooincidence it was arca, they suck.

how do you connect? it was fine for me all day

still connected now from 6am this morning
