ANTI-WAR/USA BASHERS: WHERE ARE YOU NOW, MFERS?!?!

Oh boy he brought out his aluminum foil hat AGAIN folks. Beware, mr. conspiracy theory is back.

Quote from alfonso:

Ok then dotslashmondo, how about you show me just where I was "wrong" about the war?

You know, it's so funny to see a group of (alleged) traders get so emotional about a military victory and prematurely start proclaiming it a "success" for the people of Iraq. Let's just wait and see what the situation is like 6 months down the track. The common Iraqi may well find he was yanked (pun intended) from a simmering frying pan into a raging fire.

Quote from compisnada2002:

The one rule that seems to pop up is, stop treating your own people like shit or we will step in. You are moraly blind and when you get a real job and take your nose out of those books and realize how the world actually works.

Let me see if I'm getting it. Does it work like this?

"Stop treating your own people like shit, or we'll step in, casually murder thousands and thousands of those same people, set up an obediant puppy dog government to replace the old one, whose job will be to treat Our needs as taking priority over Yours, and then, hypocritically, proclaim "liberation"."

Am I on the right track?

Quote from compisnada2002:

Maybe I come from the old school, but if you loose money on a trade you are wrong and if you make money on a trade than you are right. If you were so right than why didn't you get back in?

If your stop gets hit and you are out I would call that a pretty succesful trade, wouldnt you???? ...peace

Dude,

You are morally blind literally. If we put fucking barney fife in there they would be happier that they are right now. None of your insght has or will pan out and I really have to wonder if you are one of those people that have a complex to allways disagree.

The US will contnue to do what they say and you will be proven wrong over and over again. You do not have a heart fonzy, all you have is your theory to what will most likely not happen.

No, I would call that a looser and move on to the next trade.

But we are not talking about being in a losing trade are we. We are talking about being right or wrong on a trade...why does it seem that you are the one that strays off topic.....I can be in a losing trade more than half of the time and still make money, tell me does that sound wrong to you....that is just part of the business neither right nor wrong.....but im afraid you will not agree with me anyways.....You have a closed mind; you may be the one that deosnt Know how the World really works amigo not Alfonso......

Hapa, thanks for the post. I don't have the time to respond to each of your counterarguments. I'll just take on a couple of them.

=============================================
Hapa: Regarding Your Oil Argument: This war is only about oil in the sense of ensuring the stability of the global oil supply and trade. To suggest it is because the US lusts after the oil and intends to steal it somehow flies in the face of history and common sense.
==============================================

Say, I own the 2nd largest copper mines in the world, and I can influence the world's copper prices, although not to the point of completely controlling them. You come in with an army of mercenaries with M-16s, Bradley fighting machines etc. Since I am completely outgunned, I have to flee. You install a management team friendly to you so that for the next fifty years, you are sure to have a cheap supply of copper. And by the way, you also righteously claim that it's better for the world's economy because now everybody has access to cheap copper. That's not stealing, of course. But that's armed robbery, legitimated by the rhetoric about everybody else benefitting from the booty.

==============================================
Hapa: Furthermore, you cannot compare the India/Pakistan situation to Iraq/US because the former two are kept in check with the concept of MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction). To appreciate that concept, you have to be rational and sincerely worry about the future of your country and your people.
==============================================

So, if Iraq had had ICBMs armed with nuclear warheads, then the US would not have been justified to invade Iraq. So, if someone is weak enough to be bullied, the U. S. should go ahead, as it did with Saddam's Iraq. You are now trashing the moral arguments in the same breadth. You can do better than that, I believe, Hapa. As far as international politics is concerned, moral high grounds count little in the wake of vested interests, oil and markets. Moral high heels are opium for the unsuspecting masses doled out by the likes of MSNBC and ABC, media thaat are collectively kowtowing to Washington.

No you were not talking about trades overall you were talking about one imparticular trade. And I thought you use stops to get you out of a position that didn't turn out how you had thought. I do have a closed mind and it is to all this democratic jibberish that you and your bed mate fonnzo continue to come up with.

"Democratic jibberish".......hahahahahahahaha.

Hey you may view it as a wrong trade ( obviously after the fact ), but I just view it as a trade neither right nor wrong...Wrong would be blowing your stop..

question for ya: You blow your stop by more than double your stop figure and you dont get out and then the trade goes your way....it was a winning trade ( you made money), but was it right or wrong???? take care.......

Very valid point, but that is a different question. So now who is straying?
