You have a gift in writing
Not sure if you're sarcastic but nevertheless, I'd say my "language" skills are above average for an engineer or otherwise technically oriented fellow.
A guy here noticed some "middle age crisis" in my case. I figured out it's just a natural progression of human conscience level, which intuitively seems to follow some logarithmic growth:
- 5 years old: "kid" conscience, have you noticed how kids seem to know everything? and oftentimes when you try to tech them something, they will "know better"?
- 10 years old: "teenager" conscience, have you noticed how teenagers seem to know everything? and oftentimes (more like everytime) when you try to tech them something, they will "know better"?
- 20 years old: "just adult" conscience, the (in)famous asshole's quote "Young people are just smarter". have you noticed how 20-somethings think they're the God's gift to this planet and the best thing since sliced bread? and seem to know everything? and oftentimes when you try to tech them something, they will "know better"?
- 40 years old: this is where I am. Looking retroactively, makes sense that I might be experiencing some significant shift in conscience level and also awareness of past conscience level leaps tells me I might be much dumber than what my next level father (almost 80 years old) is trying to tell me, fuck I know better and definitely don't need his or other old man's wisdom to tell me how things run
