If there were Hispanic kids in the room when they chanted it, I have to believe it would have a significantly negative impact on the majority of them.



I do not know better than the school administrators, but given how school administrators are frequently on the wrong side of the argument, I cannot trust that they have the best interpretation of the issue either.

So the Hispanics in the ads are depicted as criminals. Never mind they aren’t even ms 13 gang members, theyre bario 18 members, and they’re from Guatemala, not the US. And you have acknowledged this type of rhetoric has a carryover effect on Americans of Hispanic ancestry. So you lost this one by your own admission.

The administration of the school said so much, but you are unwilling to acknowledge that. Even though you disagree, we have to acknowledge the authority in this situation, and you lose again.

I’m not sure “illegal immigration” is a lawful term subject to criminal prosecution but beingnin this country without the proper documentation in and of itself is not technically a crime, it’s a civil offense. So my statement is correct. Your counterpoint is valid in many and most cases, but not all. So you do have that.

There is nothing inherently racist, hurtful or evil about calling for a border security wall to be built. Nor for deporting illegal aliens, many of whom are criminals and all of whom are abusing our system.

It is crime to enter the country without the approval of an immigration officer at an approved entry point. Overstaying your visa- which includes a little less than half of undocumented is mostly a civil offense- unless they have received notice to leave or have been deported before, then it can become criminal.
