That doesn't mean the guy who shot them isn't telling the truth. His version of the story seems a lot more credible to me than theirs. If they pulled guns and were threatening him, he isn't required to sit there and wait to get shot before he responds.

Why if that man shoot 7, 8 , 9 times his gun because he say he see a gun in the car of the boys, why does that man LEAVE after he shoot his gun? Why does that man LEAVE? And why does that man tell police after they find him, he does not know he kill someone? How can that man shoot his gun so many times, but he never think he kill someone? He is gun collector and gun owner. So he shoot many times, he leave, and he so surprised he kill someone? Really he is so full of shit. And you defend him.
I believe he said he left the scene of the shooting because he was afraid more gang members would show up. Obviously, he should have called the police immediately upon leaving the shooting scene. His story was he didn't realize he had hit someone, so understandably he didn't want to get involved in a messy situation with obvious racial overtones and become another Zimmerman.
I'm not defending him. I only said I think it is premature to rush to condemn him based on what we know. For example, we know nothing about the guys in the car he shot up. Were they gang bangers or were they returning from a church event? Do they have extensive criminal records or are they model citizens? Don't you think that is at least relevant?
Clearly there is a racial element here. For better or worse, plenty of people are not prepared to give the benefit of doubt to young black males because we have seen they have a history of violent overreactions. To me, the man's story that they cursed and threatened him is not hard to believe. You can't shoot someone for cursing you, but if they are waving a gun around and threatening you, different story.
