At this point -- being a MAGA Trumper has a direct correlation to violence against government institutions and your fellow citizens. Over the 4th of July weekend - Trump ranted about his followers 'inciting an insurrection' after urging supporters to 'Fight On!' Of course -- seeing the legal scrutiny Trump is under his handlers tried to pass it off as a joke.

I don't support violence from MAGA clowns on the right or ANTIFA clowns on the left. Idiots promoting and involved in political violence should be locked up from both extremes. However at this time, violent right-wing clowns are more of a thread to democracy than the idiots on the left.

This is why I say 24 unless prior military service with a clean record should be the age to get armed. Maturity but also proclivity towards violence will have displayed by then. Of course its won't catch all schizophrenia cases as these often start mid 20s but 24 seems fair.
