Another Failure of Big Government/TSA

Quote from 377OHMS:

He crossed the active runways without being detected?

Who knows, the air traffic controllers may have been napping - again.

Quote from Mav88:

The point remains no matter who voted what. Big government is incompetant, inefficient, and a proven failure when it comes to running an economy.

Which is exactly why the left like it. The bigger the government, the worse the economy, the more people that depend on handouts, the more votes for democrats which leads to even bigger government. This is a virtuous circle for libtards. And you really gotta hand it to them, it is working well - so far anyway. If Obama gets reelected on this #@*& economy, then I would consider this done. We could go straight to 60% unemployment and folks would still be voting for more government, more spending and less jobs.

The end game kinda sucks, but one can only admire how they've manipulated the American Public into strolling off a cliff. That weirdo in Jonestown managed to get his flock to drink the Kool Aide, but the left has taken a longer and slower, yet more powerful route that is completely at odds with the true pioneer spirit of Americans.

It really is amazing.

Reagan,Bush and Bush grew the government more then Carter,Clinton and Obama

Pbbt. Clinton and Obama are the masters of big government. And you'll not hear conservatives claiming the Bushes as one of their own. Still the facts are clear - Obama and Clinton beat the crap out of Reagan with regard to government spending, with Obama spending over three times as much as Reagan!

Heh, one interesting observation from this table is that we would seem to have been better off with two more Clinton terms than Bush ones, with regard to government spending.

Smaller government is about as popular with pols and voters as walking over broken glass. :(

Dude, I beat you to the punch! Did you not see my statement about two more terms of Clinton instead of Bush II? WTF do you think Bush II got re-elected? Cuz he spent like a democrat! God forbid we ever get Bush III, he'll spend like he is trying to embarrass Obama.

I really do not understand why the left is so bitter, you guys won. We are absolutely going down the road of massive government and little liberty that you crave. The end of the road sucks, our destination is not one that many will enjoy. But everyone is happily steering the stagecoach along this path. At least some of us see beyond the immediate future- why the discontent? We're not going to influence the voting public - much anyway. Not enough to matter. You'll get the end you crave, but why are liberals so discontent with winning?

Right, although I have to agree with Lucrum on the fact that TSA is a very bad government agency. The terrorists won when Bush started the TSA.

LOL, the airport spend 100 million dollars on a new security system, and a guy can just jump a fence and walk right up to the planes completely unoticed..... guess they never thought of that devious plan, though they thought of terrorists putting anthrax in your wifes breast pump.....

Its funny, he actually has himself convinced that the reason he unilaterally votes for democrats is because he supposedly believes in limited government.... yet the attacks on Ryan are that he wants to kill granny with his cuts to government....
