As evidenced here those leaning left will ignore the issue altogether, or attempt to distract, change the subject, make apple to orange comparisons, the usual deflection we have come to expect. The issue is, does BLM as an organization really care about black lives? Clearly they do not.
All I would like to see from them and their supporters is a more honest representation of who they represent and care about. This too is clear. They care about career criminals, which is fine as criminals have rights too and need representation. Just quit pretending that they are concerned about anything else, they are not.
I will also add as a organization, as a society where should our outrage and horror be placed? Should it be when the occasional thug gets jammed up with the law again ending up dead, or when a child gets shot by a thug? Which happens more often? Innocent kids are gunned down on a weekly basis in Chicago and other cities. Where is the coast to coast protest? Where is the national media coverage? Where are the politicians and pundits? At what point do we say, enough is enough, and take this problem head on?
A baby gets killed in cold blood and it's oh well, shit happens. Career criminal gets killed and it's stop the presses, this can't be tolerated for another day. So long as this is the case people like myself will remain mostly indifferent to thugs getting killed by police, just or otherwise.

There is a massive unemployment spike, overall crime was down 10 percent in Chicago during the lockdown AP say, drug arrests down 42 percent there. Now there is a lockdown relaxation spike.

Chicago is far less violent per capita than other republican or democrat led cities. It does not even crack the top 25, Tulsa is far more dangerous.

The presence of Republican majority government does not seem to make any difference so if they have the solution, its not working.

Chicago may be or not be one of the most dangerous cities for black people to live in depending on which statistics one chooses to look at. That really isn't my point.
Blacks killing other blacks is occurring at an alarming rate and there is little to no national coverage by the media. It is largely ignored by the democratic party. BLM has zero interest in addressing the issue. What passes for black leadership ignores, minimize and make excuses for it. The cold hard truth is that on the streets of Chicago, or any other metropolitan area in the country it's far more dangerous for a black person running into another black man than it is for them to have an encounter with police.
I'm just pointing out the BLM, and by extension their supporters are primarily, dare I say exclusively, concerned with how cops interact with black criminals. Consequently they should change their name to reflect that fact, and IMO, the killing of innocents by the thousands each and every year is something to be much more concerned about than the occasional "bad cop" killing a black criminal in a questionable set of circumstances. One certainly deserves some serious attention and changes need to be made, the other is unthinkable to be happening as often as it does with little to no real concern those who claim to care.

The only thing about exgoper is whether he was ever really much a goper. There are no left wing "fever swamp" operations to speak of no Soris equivalent to Russian funded propoganda farms which are patently real and have been documented by undercover reporting in Bulgaria and other places and by the NSA, CIA, MI5/6 and everyone else. Even Trump's DOJ issued arrest warrants for them.

We are all guilty of selective attention, one might argue white people are pure evil looking at what they did in the 20th century and then Iraq II and everything else. White people had their oligarchy to somewhat stabilise their poor, black people are still building theirs. When poor you only commit blue collar crime, in time there will be less basic criminal crime and more white colar in the black community. Caucasians do commit an awful lot of crime and corruption, just its elevated a tad.

The important thing is to know if your attention is being guided and who is doing it. You just keep regurgitating pure propoganda talking points so you are not as much your own man as you seem to think.

Chicago is a GOP talking point obsession despite the stats not solidly backing it up. Obama legacy thing. You were keyed today by something in right wing media you read regularly to make the post you did. And will be another day soon and the day after that.

Chicago has always had some crime connection of course, it was known for corruption and crime a hundred, maybe two hundred years back now ever since it became a hub of business. You will find that as highly destructive and foolish national drug politics changes, the criminals will move to less violent pursuits. Many will run for office.

Chicago is a talking point? ok, lets use new orleans, memphis, detroit, camden, baltimore, NYC, or philly. What does that do? it merely reinforces our argument that black lives matter is a far left domestic terror group and blacks commit most of the violent crime in America.
Hard working americans are sick and tired of the black violence and the black sense of entitlement.
Sadly there are some great black americans and
