Yes you are right. I covered at 46 last night. It never traded there during market hours today. It did trade close to 50 this morning before the open. I though this could have been one of those short squeezes that you read about.

you did the right thing in covering - like you said it could have kept going. i'm sure some of us remember that porsche/vw incident a few years ago that almost blew up a few hedge funds...

It is impossible to blow up on one stock short like volkswagen. Is anybody here overleveraged or soemthing? If I was short HLF, I would not have blown up even if the stock went to $200. If you can't take a 25% move when shorting you have no business copypasting short trades. I understand it was primarily due to the buy-in in any case it is a bad idea to copaste popular shorts.
