I see in your link membership of gun clubs tripling hopefully the French people are going to stop the abdication of their rights and start expressing their right to defend themselves instead of being told what and how to think constantly by these politicians who are turning their country into a third world war zone.
 
Police spokesman says at press conference:
  • It was probably just one gunman, who has killed himself shortly after. All claims of more shooters or "long weapons" or other shootings at the same time were just mass hysteria.
  • Shooter was a German citizen of Iranian descent.

According to the press - Perp was apparently an 18 year-old German-Iranian from Munich. No clue about motive yet, no police record. 10 dead including the gunman; among the injured, three are still in bad condition.

I had always thought that when I retire I would go and live in Europe. Paris and Munich were near the top of my list. I have old friends there who would be, if not glad, at least surprised to see me.
