In his particular case I will have to agree with Ricter. I deal with people from many different countries of origin, religions, and races in my everyday work. All of these people I work with are middle class, college educated professionals. The Muslims I have dealt with have been polite, peaceful, non-aggressive, bright, and helpful. Many are involved in community service such as food banks and other organizations. IMO it is unfair to paint an entire community with a brush of a few extreme individuals.

This being said I have concerns with immigration of young men from areas of the world that have high terrorism risks. Both Europe and the U.S. need to shut-off this immigration until proper vetting procedures can be arrived at. Similar to the Swiss, we should establish a requirement that immigrants must fully conform to western values before residency is granted.

Fact is the majority of Muslims in the West favors Sharia law above Western law. If you know anything about Sharia law you would know it is barbaric and retarded. Another fact is Muslims are a cost to Western societies in net terms when you consider the balance of tax revenues and social benefits. Take into account the crime, aggression and intolerance they bring to society and the balance deteriorates even further. Now matter how you spin this Muslims as a whole are a burden and threat to Western societies. I challenge you to name one Muslim country where the human rights of minorities are respected.

I believe that the first thing a nation should do before granting an individual any type of residency status is have them swear that they will follow the laws of the nation and not support any other system of laws (e.g. "Sharia").

The issue that Europe is facing with Muslim immigration is that most of the "refugees" are uneducated, lower-class, young single males who have grown up in societies taught to hate western values and support local Islamic "Sharia" values including the suppression of women as second class.

Western nations need to be more selective about the immigrants they allow into their nations. You want to focus on immigrants who are educated, add value to society, do not need welfare, and can immediately support themselves by working.
