Amy Coney Barrett - let the games begin

The social unrest is in general fomented by democrats...
You guys even hated the tea party.
The left has hated every president plus the tea party and the contract with America.

Some of us did not like the Clintons or Obama but we didn't riot.
We had a tea party.

There is no reason to pay off debt with taxes.
Given our current system that would be placing the burden on wage earners.
We should all share the burden of bad govt...

As i have said before...all we have to do is cap the budget.
We will inflate into balance.

But... additionally since you never understand the above...
let me note... this budget deficit is a Canard.

Why are we taxing people... when we allow the Federal Reserve
to create as many trillions of dollars they desire...
independent of Congress's spending?

We all should just bear the burden equally.
If govt continues to spend to much and allow the FED to create trillions at will,
we should deal with inflation... not just the wage earners.
That is fair isn't it?

For those who claimed on here that getting 2 or 3 Supreme Court judges nominated would make the whole thing worth it, that is apparently the only "positive" you'll get. You'll get the judges, and then see Democrats take everything in the election. You've gotten the worst Covid experience in the Western World, a huge federal debt load under Trump that must be paid off with higher taxes, no Wall of note, highest trade deficit in recent history, worst social conflicts in decades, and your health care system isn't fixed.

Congratulations MoneyLessMatthew ( and others ) on getting what you wanted !!! Hope that Supreme Court changes your life to make up for all the other shit going on. I suppose some might say higher stock markets but in reality such moves are cyclical in nature and have very little to do with politics.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—It was quite a spectacle at the Senate hearing for Amy Coney Barrett's nomination to the Supreme Court this morning, as Judge Barrett calmly answered the committee's questions while cooking dinner for her family of nine with her right hand and typing up an appellate court decision with her left hand.

"That's a great question, Senator, thank you for asking," she responded to one line of questioning as she chopped up onions to put them in her stew. "Sorry if I'm crying during my response -- it's just the onions." She eloquently answered the inquiry while moving on to skinning the potatoes, simultaneously typing up a 50-page decision for the Seventh Court of Appeals with her other hand.

At publishing time, Judge Barrett had gotten out her knitting.

If you just finished at a California law school and can't pass the California Bar exam on the first try... I don't know. Most students out of good schools pass the first time.

I probably knew 100 people who passed the first time and I have 2 friends who did not pass the first time.
One was a very good friend at the time he was a surfer on a pro team and is now a well know board shaper... he did not really have his heart in it the first time.
The other one is a very nice person... so I am not going to say anything.

Harris's school is a good law school.
Its students passage rate is currently about 80%...

Fact check: True claim about Harris failing bar exam on first try and Barrett's law school rank

Both facts are true

The tied US Supreme Court allowed ballots that are not postmarked to be counted and those received up to 3 days later in Pennsylvania. That should not be allowed as it opens it up to massive election fraud. The reason you have deadlines is a safeguard to election fraud. If Judge Amy Coney Barrett was on the US Supreme Court, that probably, would not have happened. More election issues will go before the US Supreme Court between now and days after the November 3, 2020 election.
