There's definitely a glitch in their risk management software. All contracts work fine, except the NQ series. Check this out...

Close that order. Put on a 9 contract order for MNQ.

Then cancel that and put on a 10 contract order for MNQ and see what the margin jumps to. lol!
 
Yes, sorry all...we are working with CQG to resolve. We are getting errors with Position reporting via the CQG APIs. The margins are currently set to CQG default exchange margins...the 22K NQ looks like another issue in the CQG back office.

We working with CQG to get resolved. We will keep you updated

Using Rithmic R Trader Pro, it's normal CME margin rate for Nat Gas (Sorry /NQ is not available to me as I subscribe Nymex only). I guess the margin number shown in your TV is not accurate. Maybe TV or CQG issue. TV is a mediocre platform you know....
