All my liberal friends, suggestion

Take a few months off? Never going to happen. The radical left needs to keep shouting as loud as they can to drown out the reality of Rome burning. That's not smoke your smell. Really it isn't. They must keep whistling as we walk past the graveyard.
Besides the only liberal here is me. It's the radical left the OP was addressing.

I often disagree with you because I think you are simply in error, however you are not bat shit crazy and there's a huge difference between the two.

Disagreement is how we learn when we are wrong. Humility is admitting it. Bat shit crazy is thinking there's no need for either.
Radical leftists are bat shit crazy.

taking crazed idealists ,and trying to peg them into one hole is crazy,as we slowly have less and less the idealism being all we have left ,it will get louder

Quote from Mav88:

It is a scarce commodity that costs a lot, I'm not sure what the problem is here. The average cost of a Cholecystectomy (laparoscopic) is around $8K, it is one of the most common surgeries. $8K is luxury as far as most people are concerned.

Nursing home care runs between $100K to $300K a year. That's not a lot to you? I guess not as long as someone else pays.

Now we're just talking definitions here. Cost and scarcity isn't exclusive in the definition of a luxury. If that's the case then except for air everything could be classified as a luxury. This conversation reminds me of those with jem over figuring out how much one pays in taxes for another dollar earned. This is strictly a definition and has nothing to do with ideology just like the tax conversation is strictly math. Of course there can and are honest differences in definitions. I understand your logic I just disagree with defining health care as a luxury.

Quite right ,AnyTHING or service can be considered a luxury depending upon amount or mode of delivery (including oxygen).

odd that you are this clueless.

BSAM, please step back and get clear view of who it is you are attempting to "converse" with. And stop now. They don't think of you as an debate opponent, they think of you as a murdering thief just as they've been told you are. Don't go down this road.

BTW, LA Lakers = Smell A Fakers.

Oh, I know very well who I'm talking to, brother Hugh.
And I understand their tactics very well, also.

You're wrong about my Lakers, though.:p
