Sorry, but you are missing the point. The point is that a lot of ultra loyal Bush supporters have since distanced themselves in order justify their current narrative in all its vehemence. THAT is where the hypocrisy comes in. All the things that they supported Bush doing is now anathema. How else to reconcile this gargantuan discrepancy and justify the outrage? actually it looks to me like people distanced themselves because they thought bush was a fool, and folks like yourself are trying to draw a parallel to the past in order to make a tie to hypocrisy. not the other way around.

but if you wish to portray yourself as a bitter, whining liberal of the nth degree, then feel free to proceed. just know that most fair-minded and independent individuals will view you as such.
