Bush was an elitist as well, but bush never exactly made any attempts to hide the fact that he was also out there to help big business.

Obama ran as the great uniter who was going to fix all the middle classes problems, and make the oceans recede and yadda yadda yadda, then when things got tough and the voters got mad, he started saying that the people were just confused, because of their anger, and he quit listening, to the people, so it should come as no surprise that the left is turning on him as is the right because he refuses to listen to anyone anymore thus making him an elitist. He seems to fit the profile of a political elitist to a tee.... say whatever you need to in order to get elected then do whatever the hell you want once you get your foot in the door.

So if the reason he didnt go further left was because of republicans blocking him then you would agree that Obama was much further left of center then the bills he managed to get through would actually indicate?

Scott Brown is a hero in my books.

What makes him an elitist is not what he did or did not pass, he gets accused of being an elitist for coming out while getting decimated in the polls for passing a bunch of things people didnt want and taking stances people didnt want, and then claiming his loss in the polls is not due to making decisions against the will of the people, but simply due to the fact that the "little people" are confused.

Hello, I think you're exaggerating to make a point. Sorry, but it seems that you only have receptors for the kind of information that suits your narrative. He accepted responsibility and suggested that part of the result was attributable to communication. Seeing as how the Right had converged and ganged up on him at every turn, he had not only his job to do, but to deal with the unbelievable quantity of disinformation.
