IF you really hate those that defend indefensible positions simply because it their party's platform. You will come to despise AK47. EVEN if you make a deal with him.

but that is where we are

I'm kind of an old fashioned conservative and generally prefer gridlock to moving ahead, but in this case, neither side has a sustainable plan, so I'm willing to give up some of my ideolgy, since if you really think it through, isn't much better than the other sides ideology.

we both realize that ideoligies are fun to talk about in college

in real life it is different

we can keep arguing about it till the cows come home

if that's what's you want

a constant argument that keeps everything in balance

I'm for that most of the time

but like I said, it's time for one side to give up something, and I'm willing to give up something if we can work out a deal

If it doesn't work out I can always fall back on "I told you so."

you just can't figure it out can you? First thing is, you aint going to get another penny of my money in the form of taxes. I will fight you every step of the way.

But if you can come up with a good idea where people are not hungry and homeless and sick, I have more than enough money to donate to the cause.
