Anek or anyone who knows what they're doing,
If you’re around I was wondering if you could just clarify pivots a little, or just post a quick chart with the valid pivots circled so I can see an example of what I should be paying attention to.

Someone posted a couple charts in the chatroom yesterday and on one chart you said the moves were noise and not really pivots. On the other chart example there were a couple of valid pivots circled.

You also posted a link to a “price action” document the other day by Buffy. She marks off swing highs and swing lows as soon as the high or low of the bar is taken out. I was thinking those were pivots which completely destroyed my trading for the next couple days. I was wondering what would be the purpose of these swing highs and swing lows. Seems like a lot of noise within the big picture.

Good thing someone asked you about pivots in the chat room yesterday, because I was completely on the wrong track.

Today I paid attention to the pivots as you explained in the chat last night and I was up 26.5 fake points. Held 1 trade for a couple hours which I couldn’t do before. I was seeing pivots highs and pivot lows every few minutes before, so I would place my stops accordingly and get stopped out on noise.

Anyway I’m glad you’re still around giving tips. I pick up bits and pieces every day and the light bulb in my head is starting to flicker slightly.
 
I know, I know, time bars...but I can't get volume/tick bars that go back this far.

If anyone can assist - I am looking for a PDF that a user made that is the cliff notes version of the thread. I PM'd Anek and he suggested I ask here and someone would hopefully know.

pivots can make you money but they are not the holy grail. This article is helpful. Someone on youtube has a daily pivot site if you search utube; good to see it live.
