Ag trade ideas

returning to your discussion, i'm considering to go to daniel's trading, John Payne (broker) said about 1.29 commis per side and 15 dollars for CBOT, CME, NYMEX, LIFFE, MATIF, COMEX, ICE US. And free platform. I think it's kinda a good deal, coz currently i pay 157 monthly only for terminal and cme group and ice us

Besides drinking it, what's everyone's thoughts on Coffee (KC)? I took a speculative long at 1.2511 yesterday based on my read of chart technicals (falling wedge, 3-drive-ish, potential recent double bottom, fibs) and somewhat positives in past seasonality. Could have sold on the pop to 1.27 area but decided to keep holding towards a further out target (1.3315).

Might be a completely stupid move given how bad commodities in general (particularly KC and SB) have been crushed as of late, but that's what stops are for. Have a feeling I might be a bit early here though.

KC and SB are heavily influenced by the Brazilian currency. A lot of what looks like noise the last few months is highly correlated to daily USD/BRL moves. You'll drive yourself nuts if you're just looking at S&D fundamentals or technicals to explain/predict a move.

but it's on us to complain about all of them until they add it

The ticket I opened says it is being closed, no response with it. Maybe I submitted to the wrong section or something, but nonetheless a bit frustrating they didn't even reply.

I am short CBOT wheat, funds bought almost 20 MT on the last weeks which is big. CBOT wheat increased compared to KCBOT & Euronext wheat and is now very expensive (EU wheat was exported to mexico).
It seems that fund overbought this product even if US production should be good and above last year production.
Then I short ZW (CBOT wheat), went long KW-ZW and long EBM-ZW.
Yikes, I bought on Wednesday, and still hedged in case am wrong.
