Do I think Clinton is better than Trump? I am terrified that she will get in, and default back to the center, which in this country means [is code for] continue with the same policies. That is why this country is so hungry for a change candidate.
But here is what is different this time. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are very powerful people, they can't be bought, and they stand on our side [our is party blind]. You can see their service with your own two eyes. In a Clinton presidency, we have a chance of change because of BS and EW. Clinton? Gulp. On the other hand, in a Trump candidacy, you are gambling that he will all of a sudden see the light and do contrary to everything he has lived his whole life.
Where are Trumps advisors? Kudlow, that wants to trickle down money to you.

Simple reason why this country should not go single payer or put everyone on Medicare:
If you want to live at McDonald's then you should pay your own medical expenses. The responsible should not be subsidizing the irresponsible lifestyle. Let the weak go die in a corner.

I haven't posted in P&R for a long time. But the obesity problem is primarily brought on by CHOICES people make. 70% of the US residents are slobs. They eat crap to excess and don't get any exercise. Sit and watch reality TV instead of taking responsibility for their own health. they should be penalized financially just as a smoker is.
And then there are those of us who are the opposite. Before Odumbocare my wife and I paid $400/month. We got to keep that policy the 1st year of Odumbocare. In year 2 we were FORCED to buy Odumbo's crappy insurance to the tune of $1250/month with a $12,600 deductible. This year our premiums were about $1400/month. Next year we are expected to see a 27-29% increase so that should get us to $1800/month, or $21,600 a year just in premiums. I run and bike 5 or 6 days/week, eat healthy and end up having to subsidize the slobs who consciously CHOOSE to be just that (a slob). There is ZERO personal accountability in Odumbocare. And last, we've see Aetna, Blue Choice and United Healthcare all withdraw from our state leaving one insurer.
