According to the donkeys at MSNBC, we are now running concentration camps.

On a positive note, at least this overblown story replaced “Russia, Russia, Russia” on the Fake News Headlines for a few days.

Always good to change it up every once in a while comrades.

Trump has proven to be a challenge to their multi tasking abilities.

The law does... Visa overstaying is a civil offense akin to Jay walking, illegal crossing is a federal misdemeanor

First time is a misdemeanor - next time it is a felony- which also kills any chance of ever becoming a permanent resident or citizen.

Not so much with jaywalking.

except they were reuniting families (nice try though):

González's mother, Elizabeth Brotons Rodríguez, drowned in November 1999 while attempting to leave Cuba with González and her boyfriend to get to the United States.[1][2] The U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) initially placed González with paternal relatives in Miami, who sought to keep him in the United States against his father's demands that González be returned to Cuba.

A United States district court ruling from the Southern District of Florida that only González's father, and not his extended relatives, could petition for asylum on the boy's behalf was upheld by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. After the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear the case, by order of U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno, federal agents took González from the paternal relatives and returned him to his father in Cuba in June 2000.

In a September 2005 interview with 60 Minutes after being sent back to Cuba, González stated that during his stay in the U.S., his family members were "telling me bad things about [my father]", and "were also telling me to tell him that I did not want to go back to Cuba, and I always told them I wanted to."[17]
Not only that. I suspect that is a photo shopped picture. I am almost certain of it in fact. Unless their was united press photograher at the other end of that automatic weapon, or maybe the Aunt thought 'my what a wonderful photo opportunity, "what till I break out the Brownie."

Yeah, let's just send the boy back to one of the most corrupt brutal leftist communist regimes ever which jailed opponents in concentration camps -- no matter what his family in the U.S. who escaped the regime desired.
They (We) did, if I recall correctly, send the boy back to is dad. But more importantly here, we should all be very careful about attribution for photos like this in the age of photoshop. What is the source here , if I may ask. There is something about this photo that rings untrue.

Nah, photo is legit, I remember it well, it was blasted in all media when the whole thing was happening. In fact, I'm almost certain is a screen grab of the video that was shot.

So who was there shooting a video, and what was the point of the overkill. I'd fire who ever was in charge of this operation if I could. Did they invite the TV station to join the swat team. Have we lost our collective minds?

Pretty big crowd of protesters

This was the photo at the time that ran in every newscast and newspaper in America.
