How do you make it illegal for people arriving at the border to seek asylum?
As per the UN -- they are required the seek asylum at the first "safe" country they pass into -- which is Mexico. They need to go to the U.S. consulate in their home country or in Mexico. We should not be processing asylum claims at our border -- anyone showing up at the border should be denied admittance and be directed to the U.S. Consulate.

Once they pass through Mexico because they think the economy and life are better in the U.S, they are acknowledging that they are economic refugees. Not asylum seekers.
Although it is a small number, there are some individuals who are Mexican who have a basis (to be examined) for claiming asylum in the U.S because - for example- they are being hunted down by the cartels for ratting on the druglords or something. In that instance, Mexico is not an asylum country for them- if they can make that case.

Semantic game? Cage is a literal term, and we know who built it, Obama did and we had photos of kids in cages, nobody disagreed that those were cages - what you are showing now are not the same pictures, these are NOT cages.
