First of all, you have no idea who is border jumping. Certainly not people who think they have a valid legal claim to enter. Allowing anyone with a kid in tow to enter and waltz away free is a recipe for disaster. Only liberals seem unable to understand that. It would encourage child smuggling on a vast scale. There is already a booming business in recycling kids back and forth across the border. Is that what all you compassionate liberals want?

Second, I don't doubt they are looking for a better life for themselves. So are drug smugglers. I am more concerned about the lives of actual Americans, you know the ones who are scraping by on minimum wage and keep getting undercut by off the books immigrant workers, or the ones getting killed by illegals driving drunk or raping or shooting people. It's ironic how little compassion the open borders crowd has for them. I guess they used up all their compassion on illegal border jumpers.

And there aren't just "a few" violations of pot smokers.

Exactly. I'd add that democrats only care about this issue because they are hoping they can get more illegals amnesty to increase voting for democrats. It has nothing to do with the human element or solving any problem.

If he was really serious about that he'd testify under oath to Mueller's boys, and release his tax returns to the public. Stop using his Charitable Foundation to pay his legal expenses. Stop violating his lease on his Washington Hotel. Stop violating the emoluments clause in the Constitution, stop defrauding people, stop lying to the American people and stop making spur of the moment decisions without consulting experts first -- decisions that have to be reversed, and start obeying U.S. law .
