The way ppl are talking, you'd think they want to shoot them where they stand and ship them back in barrel of flesh. The idea of using an abandon walmart as centralized processing center. Separating criminals, inserting chips so they cannot return. And the other illegals may be fast track to legal status. Anyhow, as Americans we are civilized, educated and compassionate people. We are fortunate enough to live here. We should treat people with dignity as how we want our family and friends to be treated, no matter how dire the situation. Seems like many forgot that.

Seems like you may have forgotten that "illegal immigrant" means they broke the law in coming here. When you break the law, you have to answer for it. No one (except you) is talking about shooting anyone, but every single country in the world has immigration laws. Why should we be the one that doesn't?
How do you intend on processing illegals, remember they're still human beings. The abandon walmart is a centralized processing center. Do you get it? Do you know how systems work. How do you expect to round up millions of illegals, one at a time? We're all on the same page, the administration uses a systematic approach. But that is way over the heads of many in here. No wonder 90+% of you all lose money.
Yes, they are looking for a better life, just like everyone else, only difference is, we don't break the law to try to get that better life. Next your going to go look at a bank robber and say "Oh he's just looking for a better life, just like anyone else."
What? Are you under the impression that the millions of illegals are all hiding in Wopaw, Arkansas or something? And the army is going to go in and round them all up for processing like that scene in the original Red Dawn?
They're all over the country. ICE has been rounding up and deporting illegals for a long, long time before Obama made it cool to leave them alone. Ice never systematically lined up people and shot them...what the hell is the matter with you? Once the wall is built, you find the illegals through tightening work documentation, deporting criminals, etc. There are processes for this, and a department that is very good at it, if it is left to do it's job. Will you get them all? Of course not. But that doesn't mean you ignore the law and the problem.
I'm not sure if you make dollars trading, but you sure as hell don't make sense.
So you clump bank robbers with some one who is cleaning toilets, picking vegetables and mowing lawns for below min wage, with no rights together? How absurd. With your attitude, you'll join the 90% of traders and eventually take their job, there will be many vacancies.

Read the thread heading again. Reminder, it's about using an abandon walmart to house illegals. But it's over your head to see the benefits of having them in one location.
I read the article just fine. It's about facilities set up to shelter kids who have illegally entered the US without parents, and have no place to go. Has nothing to do with deportation or the government looking to deport/process any of them. Exactly the opposite. And it talks about hundreds. Not tens of millions.
Regarding the bank robber, fruit picker analogy, the fruit picker broke the law entering the country and then proceeds to break the law stealing education, medical care and a host of other services without paying for them. So yeah, the robber analogy is pretty close.

The illegals and those supporting them would find a whole lot more favorable climate if said illegals made a better effort towards assimilation. This attitude of we're here, you can't do shit about it, and oh by the way you need to accommodate our every whim or we'll pitch a bitch. That's not exactly how you win support from anyone other that the left, who are much more concerned about pushing their politics rather than the claim of human rights which is more of a ruse than genuine concern.
