AAPL: Buying the Dips!

Lol

AAPL is too rich for my account, but it sure seems to have injured a few people today. We need Failed Trad3r's opinion; he is usually very accurate.

After today, I'm done this this POS. too many sucker plays. Apparently I don't get it... and when I don't I invest/trade another company. Market is down slightly, yet this crap is down almost 15 points. Stock is becoming a f-king joke. Best days must be behind it! Seems like the shorts are correct.

If gap closes partially I am selling calls.

I never understood why those who bought it at 700 did it.

we all have things that piss us off. i was very confident about apple tanking but i shorted something that shorts the s&p. i can't believe the s&p is up like it is and apple is down so much.

i think its best days are behind it as of now but that can change someday. i bought a kindle hd and am very happy with it. first they are just so big its hard to get bigger and other companies are low balling them with good products. the products are great but you can buy a good tablet for 60% of the apples price. you can buy a decent desktop from dell for a 1/3 of the price, you can buy a decent laptop for 1/2 or 1/3 of there price, and the iphone is not that much better than some other phones right now. they made this run because of innovation but they have nothing amazing to show you anymore. they are like microsoft now they keep updating the same things.

You can buy a Dell for half the price, yes.

What you can't do is buy an equivalent spec'ed one for half the price.

Apple doesn't do low end. And for good reason - there's no money in it.

another delusional fanboy, you can get twice the specs for half the price at dell

it cost $1800 15 inch laptop for a core i7. i could buy a windows ran laptop i7 on sale for $700, i5 $500, and i3 $400. is an apple computer better? yes but is it $1100 or $1400 better? probably not. an i3 for $400 will do the job 95% of the people in the world need it to do. you don't need to buy a dell even buy an asus.

I'm open to being shown wrong.

Find me a Dell with 32GB RAM, current-gen quad core, and a 512GB SSD for $700. Any form factor.

I look forward to your link.

AAPL's 45 month Uptrend of Higher Highs and Higher Lows ended today.
I didn't think this would happen, but it did - for whatever reasons.

The May 18th Intraday Low of 517.58 and Closing Low of 525.71 were both decisively broken today on High Volume, with an Intraday Low of 505.58 and a Closing Low of 509.79.

I think it's a bit early to say AAPL's in a new Downtrend with a Lower High of 594.59.
A Consolidation/Trading Range between 500 and 700 seems most likely to me at this point.
Time will tell what Mr. Market decides to do.
:(
